Mer-Ryan goes Melbourne

* WARNING: This post is all about VOMIT and POO!!! *

I must say Ryan single-handedly made this journey to Melbourne extremely eventful and unforgettable!

Just half an hour before we were to board the plane, Ryan did a major 'Merlion' before his dad. I was in the ladies and when I strolled out, I was still window shopping and gazing at all the duty-free frangrances and cosmetics, unaware of the commotion just a few meters ahead of me.

Then I heard someone shouting at me.

I turned to look around and saw a BIG mess. Hubby had been trying to get my attention. Ryan look shocked as his entire left side and half of his stroller was covered in his own vomit!!! The vomit was so much that no sane person would go near it...only parents are brave enough to clear up these kind of mess. Hubby took the stroller to clean up in the men's room while I took Ryan to clean and change.

Upon reaching the boarding gate, I was carrying Ryan and he started burping and I felt his stomach rumbling again. I quickly pulled out a plastic bag and Ryan threw up a bit, whilst a small line of passengers were queuing behind us.

Ryan didn't throw in plane but none of us slept well either. Ryan couldn't find a comfy position to sleep and I guess his stomach was hurting on and off and preventing him from having uninterrupted sleep. But my left torso is achy now cause he's been kicking in his sleep and I'm on the receiving end of his wu-ying-jiao!!!

Upon reaching Melbourne, Ryan barely ate anything until dinner where he had just some mouthful of noodles. Hubby was paying the bill while I walk Ryan out first. And the moment we walk out of the restaurant, he threw up a bit right on the floor at one side of the restaurant. I wanted to clear up the mess but I only had 2 pieces of tissues which makes more sense for me to use it to wipe Ryan's mouth and clothes. It was quite embarassing but when I looked around, no one actually saw Ryan threw up. So when hubby walked out, I took their hands and quickly took off. I know I should inform the restaurant but I probably was too embarass to tell them.

Back in the hotel room and resting(we booked one night hotel as our apartment was ready for moved in on our 2nd day in Melbourne), Ryan suddenly jumped up from the bed and scream "Diarrhea! Diarrhea!!!!!". Hubby took off Ryan's shorts and found his underwear all poo-ed over. I have the honor of washing the underwear while hubby was Ryan's diarrhea-ed butt. *eeeeewww*

We reckon that if there's no input, Ryan would stop having outputand he had no appetite anyway, so we decided to stop Ryan from eating anything and just keep drinking more water so he can clear out his system. Ryan went on to have another bout of diarrhea but has since stop. I cooked plain porridge for him yesterday and he has also slowly regain some appetite and wanted some food with more flavour. It's a good sign!

Fourth day in Melbourne now. Today, Ryan and I woke up really late, around 11.30am. I made brunch for both of us and Ryan requested for scramble eggs. I cook some fishfingers and made ourselves fish and egg sandwiches. Ryan polished off everything and a glass of milk. So far, no complain of stomach ache and he's now happily having a light snack.

Great, my brain cells are not dying in accelerrated speed anymore. I'm happy!
