Time to pack up!

Time flies!

We are coming to the end of my extended Melbourne trip. My family and I will be flying off to Brisbane for the final leg of this trip this coming Saturday. We'll be there for a week, revisiting all the familiar places that we've been to 10yrs ago, then fly back to Melbourne and connect our flight back to HOOOOMMME.

I can't believe we are finally coming home. As much as we enjoyed all the adventures we had here, we missed home and everyone back home terribly now!

Back to our trip here, we found ourselves a nice fully furnished serviced apartment (not cheap though!) and comes with broadband wifi access and computer (which is why I did not to bring my laptop) and cable tv. Transportation is great, mainly because we're living right in the city and the trams serving up on our street lead to everywhere. And the view from the balcony is amazing! I get 180degree view as far as the eye can see including mountain and ocean view and watching beautiful sunsets everyday. Now is that great or what?

One of the reason I came with hubby to Australia is because I love doing touring routes. I especially love to uncover quaint little towns as we drove along to our destinations. To date, we've been on 8 road trips - several coastal routes, went bushwalking in the mountain, went 'prospecting' for gold, drove to another state and cruised along Murray River. On some weekends where we don't go on road trips, we went venturing at different suburbs, visited typical tourist attractions. I must say we are pretty exhausted having done such intensive touring of Melbourne and surrounding regions. We checked some day tour brochures and realised we've done nearly all kinds tours they are offering.

I haven't posted much during my stay here except for some photo albums mainly taken in February (check my multiply & facebook photo albums, there are more in facebook) I've taken more than 3000 photos already! *madness* There are lots more to post up, not now though, but when I returned to Sg as I probably would be offline for a week next week while we're in Queensland. I don't have a habit of blogging while on a vacation except for checking mails if I get free wifi.

Can I say again how much I missed home?
